Abstract
In this paper, I attempt to reformulate the concept of climate resilience by drawing on feminist science and technology studies. In doing so, I understand climate resilience as care that serves to sustain or restore the life of human and non-human organisms on planet Earth. Climate resilience as care is grounded in a relational ontology that replaces terms such as “substance” and “penetration” with “relationship” and “interaction” and thus locates itself in contradiction to classically dichotomous worldviews of modernity. I demonstrate the significance of such a reformulation of the concept of climate resilience by drawing on current research on urban environments and human health.
